STEPS FOR APPLYING PAN CARD ONLINE:

Step 1 : Click on the following address bar https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/

Step 2 : The following page is displayed. Click on “New PAN for Indian Citizens”

Step 3 : Now click  “Online Application for New PAN”

Step 4 : Scroll down for Application Category select Inividual

Step 5 : the following page is displayed, please fill all the particulars correctly, to say in Precise do not leave blank the Fields which are marked with asterisks (*)

Step 6 : If u don’t know the area code refer to the following link https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/Services/KnowYourJurisdictionLink.html u will get AO details, range code, area.

Step 7 : Enter the same AO details in the application form

Step 8 :  complete the form with details click on submit, after submitting you will get an Acknowledgemrnt number.

Step 9 : The page will also lists the Payment mode and Documents to be submitted by you, take print outs of this application

Step 10 : Fix your recent passport size photo and sign on the box with black pen

Step 11 :  After Duly Signed the acknowledgement with any demand draft ( if it is ), with the Documents which you had earlier filled in the application form for your Identity and address proof should be sent to the Address given in the acknowledgement page by Courier or Speed post to NSDL

Step 12 : Keep one acknowledgement as your Reference, Please send the application before 15 days of your filling online application

Track your PAN card status :

After Applying To Track your PAN card status visit this https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pantan/StatusTrack.html the following page is displayed. fill it and check ur status
